About The Game

Forlorn is an open world action RPG delivered in chapters that expands its world.

Heavily inspired by the Soulsborne series and The Legend of Zelda, Forlorn focuses on action with high-risk combat, exploration and discovery.

Forlorn is being developed by Justin Scott Bowen with character and concept art by Rod Wong.

Obsessed with Soulsborne games Justin began working on this passion project in mid 2016 to try to recreate a similar experience to the Souls series with additional focus on action, exploration and discovery. Marrying his two favorite game series together, Souls and Zelda, Forlorn is something Justin hopes people will love to immerse themselves in and obsess over just like the games that inspire it.

Forlorn currently uses some free, re-appropriated Unreal Engine and community UE4 assets which during development will be replaced or credited on release. It also currently uses animations from the UE4 Marketplace which are planned to be updated and replaced as development continues.
